For Vlodek and Danuta Tydor, husband and wife team, art has always been their life. Over the years, they have gained valuable knowledge and experience by applying their versatile talents and skills to a variety of media.
Vlodek graduated from Mechanical Engineering College. His interests, however, lay elsewhere and due to his artistic nature, he got involved in designing and building miniature scale urban projects for the architectural company. His interests extended into photography and short films. Since Vlodek always thrived on challenges, he discovered that media such as wood carving, stained glass and watercolour painting intrigued him as well.
Danuta graduated from Architectural Technology College as an interior designer. She worked in related fields, pursued a variety of media such as tapestry weaving, drawing with ink, painting and designing for creative fashion.
Tydors' talents were gaining recognition and were awarded numerous times by a variety of organizations. For fifteen years, Tydors owned and operated an Art Gallery and a Gift Shop in St. Jacobs, Ontario, selling their own creations as well as other fellow artists' work. For the last thirteen years, Tydors have worked with the clay medium, creating a line of contemporary sculptures. Their creations can be seen in many art galleries and gift shops across Canada and the United States.
After thirty-five years of professional experience in a variety of media, the Tydors decided to merge their skills and talents by launching AABASK Publishing Company. Here they express artistic creativity and inspirations in graphic design, illustration, watercolour, acrylic painting, and photography.
AABASK Publishing presently operates from the Tydor's Studio in Wallenstein, Ontario. |
